VMware has extended the general support for vSphere 6.5 to a full five years from date of release, which. To maintain your full level of Support and Subscription Services, VMware recommends upgrading to vSphere 6.5, vSphere 6.7 or to a newer version. Limitations for vSphere 6.5 extension of general support: The End of General Support for vSphere 5.5 is September 19, 2018. Customers who will need vSphere 6.x support beyond Octoshould plan to move to vSphere 6.7 (or preferably move to vSphere 7). Extended Support will only be available on vSphere 6.7 – our final long-term support 6.x offering. Note: For vSphere 6.5 there is no plan for Extended Support after the end of general support. Summary of Key Dates for vSphere 6.5 Product Version The longer vSphere 6.5 supportability period is intended to help you work through an uncertain time with worry-free stability and introduce an added buffer period for planning future upgrades as you resume regular operations moving forward. In parallel, we are also extending the general support period for VMware vSAN 6.5 and 6.6. There is no change in support dates for any other vSphere version. Originally, vSphere 6.5 was scheduled to reach EoGS (End of General Support) on November 15, 2021. The original EoTG (End of Technical Guidance) date of Novemstill applies for vSphere 6.5. Today we are extending the general support period for vSphere 6.5 by 11 months, to October 15, 2022. The following section lists all Trend Micro products and versions that have reached End-of-Life (EOL) status (formerly End-of-Support or EOS) in the last twelve (12) months and are no longer actively supported by Trend Micro.
